Bawa in CL + Studio space at The Contemporary

Artist Avantika Bawa is interviewed in Creative Loafing’s “Speakeasy” this week. We had a chat with Avantika at the opening of her show “Perfect Distortions” at Saltworks.

Also, the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center is accepting applications for artists’ studio spaces in the Contemporary’s Studio Artist Program, for 2009. Contemporary membership is not a requirement for application. Deadline for submissions is 4 p.m., Friday, December 12, 2008.
